Organic Growth Specialist
Location: USA - Remote (Only in the following states: IL, MI, MN, NC, FL, TX, CO, ID)
Ten Speed is a fully remote marketing agency that specializes in high-quality content marketing and SEO for SaaS companies. We believe that well-executed content marketing and SEO strategies can be major differentiators for SaaS companies, helping them increase brand awareness, decrease CAC, and grow revenue.
We’re looking for an Organic Growth Specialist to join our growing team. This role is a key player in driving client marketing initiatives involving tasks such as strategic planning, reporting, and client communication.
In this role, you are responsible for developing and optimizing content and collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy and relevance. You will also manage critical on-site optimization tasks and link-building initiatives, playing a key role in enhancing website visibility and authority. Additionally, you will engage in direct client communication, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met and aligned with our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility for Specialists is to research topics and create optimized content briefs that have clear intent, buyer journey implications, and target client ICPs accurately
- Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to assist with Top-of-Funnel Hybrid content creation, metadata optimization, social content creation, title generation, and more
- Execute the on-site roadmap, optimizing internal linking and other fundamental on-page elements to enhance website visibility and usability, supporting the broader SEO strategy
- Determine when and where client SME knowledge is needed and incorporate it into the content creation process, ensuring the production of accurate, high-quality content tailored to client needs; conduct live SME interviews as needed
- Coordinate link-building targets and oversee backlink tracking, fostering relationships for external links and monitoring these backlinks to enhance website authority
- Manage the building and formatting of content within clients' CMS, preparing it for publishing, requiring technical proficiency and attention to detail for smooth content deployment
- Attend monthly client calls as necessary or requested, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with clients and ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations
You’re a fit if:
- You have 1-2 years of experience with SEO & content strategy
- You have foundational SEO skills and knowledge of best practices
- You are well-organized, can work well independently, and meet deadlines
- You enjoy interacting with clients and working with different types of companies/industries
- You have familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog
- You have experience working in/with B2B, SaaS, or technology companies
- You have a strong understanding of SEO and content marketing best practices
- You have experience working with AI tools for content strategy
- You are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
- You are process-oriented and have strong attention to detail
It’s a bonus if you have:
- You have examples of SEO content you have written and the impact it had on the business
- Experience in a client-facing role at an agency
- Experience working with SaaS companies
- Experience working with content optimization tools (e.g., Clearscope or similar tools)
- Experience working with Asana or an equivalent project management tool
- Experience working remotely
Salary & Benefits
This is a full-time position with a base salary of $50,000 - $65,000, depending on experience. In addition to salary and commissions, this role is eligible for the following benefits and perks:
- Work from anywhere as long as you have a strong internet connection and 4 hours of overlap with Central Time for calls/meetings with team and clients
